Position Summary Information

Job Summary

Regis University School of Pharmacy (RUSOP) invites applications at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank for a full-time, 12-month appointment in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.

Regis seeks applicants with a strong psychiatry/neurology focus. The position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to an innovative student-centered Doctor of Pharmacy program that integrates the biomedical, pharmaceutical, social administrative, and clinical sciences. Curricular content is developed primarily using Team-Based Learning™ (TBL), an active learning teaching model in which the faculty facilitates student learning that promotes self-directed learning, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, delivering curricular content in psychiatry/neurology, maintaining an active practice site in the area of psychiatry or neurology, and precepting students at the practice site. In addition, the faculty member will maintain an innovative scholarship program and engage in service to the school, college, university, and community.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified individuals must have an earned doctorate degree and two years of residency training or have equivalent work experience. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice as a pharmacist in the state of Colorado.

Preferred Qualifications

Individuals with pharmacy practice experience are encouraged to apply; those with board certification in psychiatry, a PGY2 in psychiatry/neurology (to include PGY2 with an emphasis in psychiatry/neurology), or at least 3 years work experience in psychiatry/neurology are preferred.
